Virg Casa Headquarters: A Fusion of Art and Technology

Revolutionizing Commercial Spaces with Innovative Design

The design team from Topway Design was entrusted with the task of creating a headquarters that would reflect the brand's upscale Italian tiles and bespoke Italian-style full-house furnishing solutions. The result is a multi-purpose space that serves as an exhibition area, workplace, and corporate culture display space. The first and second floors are used for displaying imported products and Virg Casa's own-label products, while the third and fourth floors function as working and reception spaces.

What sets this design apart from others is its innovative use of materials and open spatial form. The design team has incorporated frequently used materials into the interpretation of scenes, injecting vitality into products and evoking visitors' imagination. The areas that display imported products from Italian brands, including Ferrari, are characterized by a coordinated combination of materials, hues, and furnishings, reproducing the pioneering display art at the Milan Furniture Fair.

Another unique feature of this design is the use of modern and new building materials, such as stainless steel, acrylic glass, artistic cement paint, cement brick, and ceramic plate. The design team took advantage of Foshan's status as a "building material capital" to incorporate these materials into the design. The "City of the Future" on the second floor, for example, was designed with lightweight stainless-steel materials to account for the floor slabs' bearing capacity.

Despite the challenges encountered during the production process, such as the difficulty of processing stainless steel, the design team was able to overcome these obstacles and create a unique and innovative space. The interior space follows the open architectural design, with functional areas freely arranged alongside axes, extending the line of sight.

This design has not only revolutionized the way commercial spaces are designed but has also earned recognition in the design world. The Virg Casa Headquarters was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020, a testament to the design team's creativity and innovation. This award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
